Certain L-Tryptophan, L-Tryptophan Products, and Their Methods of Production; Notice of Commission Determination To Institute a Rescission Proceeding; Rescission of the Remedial Orders; Termination of Rescission Proceeding
Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has determined to institute a rescission proceeding and to grant a joint petition to rescind the limited exclusion order (“LEO”) and cease and desist order (“CDO”) (collectively, “the remedial orders”) issued in the underlying investigation. The rescission proceeding is terminated.”
Freight Rail Coupler Systems and Components From China
Determinations from the ITC: “On the basis of the record developed in the subject investigations, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that an industry in the United States is not materially injured or threatened with material injury by reason of imports of freight rail coupler systems and components from China, provided for in subheading 8607.30.10 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, that have been found by the U.S. Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) to be sold in the United States at less than fair value (“LTFV”), and to be subsidized by the government of China.”
Certain UMTS and LTE Cellular Communications Modules and Products Containing the Same; Notice of a Commission Determination To Review in Part and, on Review, Affirm a Final Initial Determination Finding No Violation of Section 337; Termination of Investigation
Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission (the “Commission”) has determined to review in part the final initial determination (“ID”) issued by the presiding administrative law judge (“ALJ”) on April 1, 2022. On review, the Commission has determined to take no position on certain non-dispositive issues. The Commission has determined not to review, and thereby adopts, the remaining findings in the ID. The Commission further determines to affirm the ID's finding of no violation with respect to each of the subject patents. This investigation is hereby terminated.”
Certain Wearable Electronic Devices With ECG Functionality and Components Thereof; Notice of Request for Submissions on the Public Interest
Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that on June 27, 2022, the presiding administrative law judge (“ALJ”) issued an Initial Determination on Violation of Section 337. The ALJ also issued a Recommended Determination on remedy and bonding should a violation be found in the above-captioned investigation. The Commission is soliciting submissions on public interest issues raised by the recommended relief should the Commission find a violation. This notice is soliciting comments from the public only.”
Emulsion Styrene-Butadiene Rubber (ESBR) From Czechia and Russia; Scheduling of the Final Phase of Antidumping Duty Investigations
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the scheduling of the final phase of antidumping investigation Nos. 731-TA-1575 & 731-TA-1577 (Final) pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether an industry in the United States is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the United States is materially retarded, by reason of imports of emulsion styrene-butadiene rubber (“ESBR”) from Czechia and Russia, provided for in statistical reporting numbers 4002.19.0015 and 4002.19.0019 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, preliminarily determined by the Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) to be sold at less-than-fair-value.”
