Potassium Permanganate From China; Institution of a Five-Year Review
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice that it has instituted a review pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), as amended, to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty order on potassium permanganate from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury. Pursuant to the Act, interested parties are requested to respond to this notice by submitting the information specified below to the Commission.”
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice that it has instituted reviews pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), as amended, to determine whether revocation of the antidumping and countervailing duty orders on certain seamless carbon and alloy steel standard, line, and pressure pipe from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury. Pursuant to the Act, interested parties are requested to respond to this notice by submitting the information specified below to the Commission.”
Ironing Tables and Certain Parts Thereof From China; Institution of a Five-Year Review
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice that it has instituted a review pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), as amended, to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty order on ironing tables and certain parts thereof from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury. Pursuant to the Act, interested parties are requested to respond to this notice by submitting the information specified below to the Commission.”
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice that it has instituted reviews pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), as amended, to determine whether revocation of the countervailing duty orders on certain uncoated paper from China and Indonesia and the antidumping duty orders on certain uncoated paper from Australia, Brazil, China, Indonesia, and Portugal would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury. Pursuant to the Act, interested parties are requested to respond to this notice by submitting the information specified below to the Commission.”
Certain Active Matrix OLED Display Devices and Components Thereof; Institution of Investigation
Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on December 28, 2020, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of Solas OLED Ltd. of Ireland. An amended complaint was filed on January 5, 2021, and a supplement to the amended complaint was filed on January 13, 2021. The complaint, as amended and supplemented, alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain active matrix OLED display devices and components thereof by reason of infringement of certain claims of U.S. Patent No. 7,573,068 (“the '068 patent”) and U.S. Patent No. 7,868,880 (“the '880 patent”). The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by the applicable Federal Statute. The complainant requests that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a limited exclusion order and cease and desist orders.”
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the scheduling of expedited reviews pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty orders on preserved mushrooms from Chile, China, India, and Indonesia would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.”
Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the institution of investigations and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigation Nos. 701-TA-663-664 and 731-TA-1555-1556 (Preliminary) pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the United States is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the United States is materially retarded, by reason of imports of granular polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) resin from India and Russia, provided for in subheading 3904.61.00 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, that are alleged to be sold in the United States at less than fair value and alleged to be subsidized by the Governments of India and Russia. Unless the Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) extends the time for initiation, the Commission must reach a preliminary determination in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations in 45 days, or in this case by March 15, 2021. The Commission's views must be transmitted to Commerce within five business days thereafter, or by March 22, 2021.”

Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has received a complaint entitled Certain Robotic Floor Cleaning Devices and Components Thereof, DN 3530; the Commission is soliciting comments on any public interest issues raised by the complaint or complainant's filing pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.”
Polyvinyl Alcohol From China and Japan; Cancellation of Hearing for Third Full Five-Year Reviews
Supplementary Information from the ITC: “Effective September 17, 2020, the Commission established a schedule for the conduct of the subject full five-year reviews (85 FR 59545, September 22, 2020). Counsel for domestic producers filed its request to appear at the hearing on January 26, 2021. No other party filled a timely request to appear at the hearing. On January 27, 2021, counsel for the domestic producers filed a request that the Commission cancel the hearing. Counsel indicated a willingness to respond to any Commission questions in lieu of an actual hearing and, in the alternative, domestic producers would appear at the hearing if held. Consequently, the public hearing in connection with these reviews, scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. on February 2, 2021, via videoconference, is cancelled. The Commission determined that no earlier announcement of this cancellation was possible. Parties to these reviews should respond to any written questions posed by the Commission in their posthearing briefs, which are due to be filed on February 10, 2021.”
Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has determined to issue a general exclusion order (“GEO”) prohibiting the unlicensed importation of foldable reusable drinking straws and components and accessories thereof that infringe one or more of claims 1-12 and 14-17 of U.S. Patent No. 10,123,641 (“the '641 patent”). The investigation is terminated in its entirety.”

Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that a complaint was filed with the U.S. International Trade Commission on December 30, 2020, under section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, on behalf of One World Technologies, Inc. of Anderson, South Carolina, and Techtronic Power Tools Technology Ltd. of the British Virgin Islands. A supplement to the complaint was filed on January 12, 2021. The complaint alleges violations of section 337 based upon the importation into the United States, the sale for importation, and the sale within the United States after importation of certain batteries and products containing same by reason of infringement of the sole claims of U.S. Patent No. D579,868 (“the '868 patent”); U.S. Patent No. D580,353 (“the '353 patent”); and U.S. Patent No. D593,944 (“the '944 patent”). The complaint further alleges that an industry in the United States exists as required by the applicable Federal Statute. The complainants request that the Commission institute an investigation and, after the investigation, issue a general exclusion order, or in the alternative a limited exclusion order, and cease and desist orders.”
