Steel Concrete Reinforcing Bar (Rebar) From Japan, Taiwan and Turkey; Scheduling of Expedited Five-Year ReviewsSummary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the scheduling of expedited reviews pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether revocation of the countervailing duty order on steel concrete reinforcing bar (rebar) from Turkey and the antidumping duty orders on steel concrete reinforcing bar from Japan, Taiwan and Turkey would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.“
Certain Welded Stainless Steel Pipe From South Korea and TaiwanDeterminations from the ITC: “On the basis of the record [1] developed in the subject five-year reviews, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the antidumping duty orders on certain welded stainless steel pipe from South Korea and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time.”
Certain Digital Set-Top Boxes and Systems and Services Including the Same; Notice of Commission Determination Not To Review an Initial Determination Terminating the Investigation Based on a Settlement Agreement; Termination of InvestigationSummary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has determined not to review an initial determination (“ID”) (Order No. 26) of the presiding administrative law judge (“ALJ”) granting a joint motion to terminate the investigation as to the remaining respondents Altice USA, Inc. and CSC Holdings, LLC, both of Long Island City, New York, and Cablevision Systems Corp. of Bethpage, New York (collectively, “Altice”) based on a settlement agreement. The investigation is terminated.“
Recent Trends in U.S. Services Trade, 2023 Annual ReportSummary from the ITC: “The Commission has prepared and published annual reports in this series, Recent Trends in U.S. Services Trade, since 1996.[1] The 2023 report, which the Commission plans to publish in May 2023, will provide aggregate data on cross-border trade in services for the period ending in 2021, and transactions by affiliates based outside the country of their parent firm for the period ending in 2020. The report's analysis will focus on distribution services (including e-commerce, retail, logistics services, port services, maritime transport services, and other transportation services). The Commission is inviting interested members of the public to furnish information and views in connection with the 2023 report.“
Certain Video Security Equipment and Systems, Related Software, Components Thereof, and Products Containing Same; Clarification Concerning Commission Issuance of a Notice of Institution of InvestigationNotice from the ITC: “The U.S. International Trade Commission (the Commission) issued a Notice, 86 FR 51182-83, which was published in the Federal Register on Tuesday, September 14, 2021. The Commission clarifies that the Office of Unfair Import Investigations is not a party to the investigation referenced in the Notice.“
Dioctyl Terephthalate From South Korea; Scheduling of a Full Five-Year ReviewSummary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the scheduling of a full review pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty order on dioctyl terephthalate from South Korea would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.“
Circular Welded Carbon-Quality Steel Pipe From Oman, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates; DeterminationsSummary from the ITC: “On the basis of the record [1] developed in the subject five-year reviews, the United States International Trade Commission (“Commission”) determines, pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”), that revocation of the antidumping duty orders on circular welded carbon-quality steel pipe from Oman, Pakistan, and the United Arab Emirates would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury to an industry in the United States within a reasonably foreseeable time.“
Gray Portland Cement and Cement Clinker From Japan; Scheduling of an Expedited Five-Year ReviewSummary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the scheduling of an expedited review pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty order on gray portland cement and cement clinker from Japan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.“
Stainless Steel Sheet and Strip From Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan; Notice of Commission Determination To Conduct Full Five-Year ReviewsSummary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice that it will proceed with full reviews pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 to determine whether revocation of the countervailing duty order on stainless steel sheet and strip (SSSS) from South Korea, and the antidumping duty orders on SSSS from Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time. A schedule for the reviews will be established and announced at a later date.“
