Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has received a complaint entitled Certain Barcode Scanners, Mobile Computers with Barcode Scanning Capabilities, Scan Engines, and Components Thereof, DN 3570; the Commission is soliciting comments on any public interest issues raised by the complaint or complainant's filing pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.”

Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission (“Commission”) has found a violation of section 337 of the Tariff Act of 1930, as amended, in this investigation and has issued a limited exclusion order prohibiting the importation of infringing tobacco heating articles and components thereof and cease and desist orders directed against respondents Philip Morris USA, Inc. (“PM USA”) and Altria Client Services LLC (“ACS”). The investigation is terminated.”

Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the institution of investigations and commencement of preliminary phase antidumping and countervailing duty investigation Nos. 701-TA-670 and 731-TA-1570 (Preliminary) pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether there is a reasonable indication that an industry in the United States is materially injured or threatened with material injury, or the establishment of an industry in the United States is materially retarded, by reason of imports of freight rail coupler systems and components thereof from China, provided for in subheading 8607.30.10 of the Harmonized Tariff Schedule of the United States, that are alleged to be sold in the United States at less than fair value and alleged to be subsidized by the Government of China. Subject merchandise attached to finished rail cars may also enter under HTSUS heading 8606 or under subheading 980300 if imported as an Instrument of International Traffic. Unless the Department of Commerce (“Commerce”) extends the time for initiation, the Commission must reach a preliminary determination in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations in 45 days, or in this case by November 15, 2021. The Commission's views must be transmitted to Commerce within five business days thereafter, or by November 22, 2021.”

Summary from the ITC: “The Commission hereby gives notice of the scheduling of an expedited review pursuant to the Tariff Act of 1930 (“the Act”) to determine whether revocation of the antidumping duty order on alloy magnesium from China would be likely to lead to continuation or recurrence of material injury within a reasonably foreseeable time.”

Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has received a complaint entitled Certain Oil-Vaping Cartridges, Components Thereof, and Products Containing the Same, DN 3571; the Commission is soliciting comments on any public interest issues raised by the complaint or complainant's filing pursuant to the Commission's Rules of Practice and Procedure.”

Summary from the ITC: “Notice is hereby given that the U.S. International Trade Commission has determined to affirm, on modified grounds, a summary determination (“ID”) (Order No. 50) of the presiding administrative law judge (“ALJ”) finding a violation of section 337. The Commission has determined that the appropriate remedy is a general exclusion order (“GEO”) and cease and desists orders (“CDO”) to certain respondents. The Commission terminates the investigation.”
