Legal Documents for the Contest
A. Eligibility
This Contest is only open to those who are 18 or older and are active users of Export Portal. The contest is for all countries, for all registered users, and is void where prohibited by law. Employees and associates of Export Portal, its affiliates, and immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of Employees are not eligible to participate. The Contest is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations. Your participation in the Contest constitutes your complete and unconditional acceptance of these Official Rules.
B. Agreement to Rules
By participating, You agree to be fully unconditionally bound by these Rules, and You represent and warrant that You meet all the eligibility requirements. In addition, You agree to accept Export Portal's decisions as final and binding in all matters pertaining to the content of this Contest.
C. Contest Period
Entries will be accepted online starting on November 15, 2021 and ending on January 31, 2022.
D. How to Enter
The Contest must be entered by submitting a short video explaining how Export Portal has improved your international business to form. Please feel free to upload the video to your social media platforms and tag #ExportPortalGiveaway and #ExportPortalContest. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules may be disqualified. You must provide all the information requested. If you use any type of fraudulent methods, your submission will be removed.
E. Prizes
A $1,000 prize will be awarded by the CEO of Export Portal, Ally Spinu. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission for Export Portal to use Winner’s name and video for purposes of advertising without further compensation.
F. Winner Selection and Notification
The video that has received the most votes from our panel’s choice will win the contest. Winners will be notified by email on the day of the selection of the Winner. Export Portal shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk email, or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or non-functioning contact information. If Winner cannot be contacted or fails to claim the prize within 3 days from the time the email was sent, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate Winner will be selected. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE RULES WILL RESULT IN DISQUALIFICATION, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE TERMINATED.
G. Rights Granted by You
By entering your video, You agree that Export Portal shall have the right to print, publish, and use in any media now known or hereafter developed, in perpetuity and throughout the World, without limitation, your entry, name, video, picture, voice, image, statements about the Contest, and biographical information for news, publicity, information, trade, advertising, public relations, and promotional purposes without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent. By entering your video, You represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, You will be disqualified. If the content of your entry is claimed to infringe on the proprietary or intellectual property rights of a third party, you must defend or settle such claims at your own expense. You shall defend and hold Export Portal harmless from and against any suit, claims, liability, damage, costs, or expense, which Export Portal may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement.
H. Terms & Conditions
Video entries must not constitute or promote illegal products, services, or activities. Video entries must not discriminate or encourage discrimination against people based on personal attributes such as race, color, ethnicity, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, religion, disability, or medical condition. Video entries must not contain adult content or activities that are overly suggestive. Videos must not contain shocking, disrespectful, or excessively violent content. Video entries must not contain deceptive, false, or misleading content. Export Portal reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Contest or website or violates these Terms & Conditions. Any attempt to deliberately damage any website or undermine the legitimate operation of the Contest may be a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, Export Portal reserves the right to seek damages to the fullest extent.
I. Limitation of Liability
By entering, You agree to hold Export Portal harmless from any liability, injury, death, damage, or loss that may occur directly or indirectly from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind; (iii) electronic or human error in the administration of the Contest or the processing of entries.
By checking the box on the online entry form (and submitting your video), You, the Contestant, have reviewed and agreed to all the Official Rules.
