Blisco Exim
Blisco Exim | Company Profile
Company description
India is a treasure trove of materials out of which unique and creative items of home decor and daily use can be made. Items belonging to the remotest corners of the country that the world is unaware of! Established in June 2020, Blisco Exim brings together those unique handicrafts that are exclusively made in different states of India. Coconut shell crafts are popular in Southern states of India, while Bamboo crafts are popular in the Eastern states. The brand employs artisans from NGOs or the unemployed to create these classics. The offerings are one-of-a-kind and must-haves!
Blisco Exim hires artisans who are unemployed, work in NGOs, or sell their products on a small scale in local markets. They bring them together to work collectively on bigger orders. The brand is strictly against child labor. In addition to this, they ensure that no harmful substances are used during production.
Blisco Exim has a variety of hand cut products. Each offering is made from local produce like coconuts, coir, bamboo, cork, wood and more. Their coconut products are made from reclaimed coconut shells that would have normally been disposed off as waste. By turning them into useful products, the brand hopes to give these beautiful shells a second life and a new home. These shells are thoroughly cleaned, carefully scouted, polished, and sundried, and cut to make various home and kitchen products. Similarly, they reuse the matured bamboo shoots, wood and cork to make unique products.
