General Standards
Tunisia is one of the most politically stable countries in Africa and the Middle East. The country also has the most diversified economy in the region and one of the highest standards of living in Africa.
Regarding trade standards, it should be mentioned that not all Tunisian products are standardized. However, Tunisian consumers are gradually becoming aware of the international standards. At present, the country is following ISO 9001 standards. Many companies from the industrial sector have already achieved ISO 9001 certification.
