Description

lso known as Oud oil, Aloeswood oil, and many other titles based upon location, is an incredibly unusual and useful organic oil acquired from several varieties of Agarwood (Aquilaria sp.) plants. It starts in Northern Southern Indian, Bhutan and areas of Southern Southern Asia - especially Vietnam and Cambodia - the Malaysia, and Malaysia, such as Papau New Guinea. Agarwood has a very long record of therapeutic use, as a useful part of incense, and as an fragrant oil. There are several varieties of Agarwood, the most important varieties are: Aquilariaagollocha, A. malaccensis and A. crassna. Aquilariamalaccensis is vulnerable and secured globally under the CITES conference and A. crassna is detailed as vulnerable by the Vietnamese govt. Our Oud comes from the varieties Aquillariaagollocha, and is farmville farm expanded in Assam, Indian, an area initially known to have an variety of normally sourced agarwood plants. While there are still crazy agarwood plants to be found in not reachable woodlands areas, they are incredibly unusual and very difficult to acquire. By buying agarwood oil from harvested plants, we help decrease harm to the last staying crazy agarwood plants, and to the jungles in which the precious agarwood plants develop. The perfume of Agarwood comes from a process where fungus contaminate the plants, generating an oleoresin which saturates the timber. It is through this oleoresin soaked timber where Oud produces its fragrance. The perfume is complicated, strong and woodsy, and is extremely valued as an incense in Asia and as an oil in the Center Southern. Because of its scarcity, Agarwood is not well known in the Western, but should be knowledgeable by every lover of important natural oils, and anyone serious about aromatherapy and organic perfumery.
