The Cadillac Coupe De Ville was originally designed as a trim level though later it became a separate model produced by the Cadillac Corporation. This car has been produced in eight generations. The very first item to bear this name was the 1949 Coupe de Ville, a pillar-less two-door hardtop body style with a prestige trim level above that of the Series 62 luxury coupe.
The base model of the De ville used a 4.9-liter V8 engine which provided 200 horsepower. The interior is still equipped with a refresh board, a radio and door panels. This large car is a full-size luxury article which includes all of the necessary things at once, as well combining style and comfort.
